I was picking out a book to read and I come across the book called ā??Joey Boutnerā?? and in the back it talks about how its all about rich teenagers and their friendship. I donā??t feel very interested but I keep on reading the back. And ahha! Something catches my attention, it says something about the author having experience about marijuana and how this book is kind of a reflection on her teen-hood with weed and all that. So I read it and it talked about how one kid who didnā??t want to do it does it and feels like his friends wants to kill him and he kills them instead. And all about how marijuana is responsible! FUCK!

Books are like websites. For some reason people that read them tend to beleive them for some reason even if the author is out of his mind. Post a comment about it at amazon.com or something and move on I suppose.

not all authors are like this though, take thompson for example, a famous well-to-do author who bases many of his adventures, not only on cannabis but LSD and coke and such, he is probably more well known that that canna-basher you were reading about.

This is sort of what I'm talking about. I know HST is an out of this world author, but just because someone can write well and tell good stories, doesn't mean they allways know what they're talking about. HST obviously knows a lot about drugs and relates that well, but if he put mentioned that using fix a flat for tires was a good thing, people would prolly beleive him. As a rule of thumb, allways take what you read with a pinch of salt. You can research it later and make up your own decision, but if people approached everything with an open mind and ketp thier options open, then we'd all be a little better of.
