The pothead vs stoner debate.

From my knowledge Pothead is the word we should prefer.

because pothead means a habitual pot smoker, isint that what we are?

stoner is like someone who lays on the couch all day smoking weed.

if crackheads love crack, and pot heads love pot.

Then im a god damn pot head.

I dont know what I would classify my self as. I really dont like either of those definitions or classifications. I just like to consider my self someone with serious life problems that loves to smoke because it's the only thing that distracts me from this craziness for how ever long I want it to. I have slowed down but I used to smoke every day all day but I still did my work and all that. Even though the work is poor I'm not a lazy fuckin pothead. I'm not a stoner or pothead, I just like marijuana .

i've always seen both terms as just kind of the same thing. someone who would skip class to burn never do there shit on time and just generaly lazy.

To be honest i don't call myself a stoner or a pothead but i deffinently tell a lot people i smoke weed atleast once a day and to most its ussaly a big shock. I kind of like how everyone has this misunderstanding of weed smokers because i get to stick it in there face when i get good grades or anything the like and then i pull my joint right out in front of them.. damn good feeling

i think the labels POTHEADS and STONERS refer to people whose LIFE revolves ENTIRELY around weed
they usually can talk/think/do nothing but weed...
i smoke weed EVERYday...at least 3 times....and when people call me a pothead/stoner i get offended.....theres SOOO much more to me than that......im a fashion merchandising student with a minor in sociology/psychology....have had a steady job since 15...live on my own.....get straight A's.....AND make time to volunteer at an alternative highschool to help kids set and achieve goals.......

Yeah, same. If you smoke every day and got offened if someone called you a pothead they should just knock you in the face, that's the worst case of denial. I'd rather be called a weedhead (because WTF is pot?!) over pothead, but i'd be the happiest with just "marijuana smoker".
