Is it too late to clone ??

Hi guys my friend has got a nice female plant that has been growing in the garden for the last 3 months, it has been flowering for about 4 weeks i`d say, it`s on the skinny side and hasnt had any nutes or attention at all but look quite well, would it be too late to take a cutting as there is crystals on the buds and it`s got quite a nice smwll.

    Thanks.

some strains will allow cloning late into flowering, but not most ... you might try throwing the plant back into 18-hour vegging, after you harvest your buds ... then, when she starts a growing phase again, take your clones from the lower branches ... its a crapshoot ... :smokin:

Is it too late to clone ??

Sos just realized i`m in the wrong section i guess, well i will take a cutting and go 18/6 under some cool white. Will a clipping taken from the mother kill it at this late stage in bloom ?

I HAVE TAKEN CUTTINGS FROM PLANTS ALREADY HAIRED UP.

MOST WILL ROOT AND RE-VEG AFTER ABOUT 3 WEEKS.

    GOOD LUCK

    dude,

i had doubts of late clones....i took 50, 34 cloned well, ill know in a week or two if any of these go down....just make sure u use a good gel, hygrozyme, bcuzz root, a humidome, dont over water, let the humidity do the work...ull have roots in 9 days...make sure u snip any buds off the clones as well!

    peace

Some good tips there guys thanks, i`m almost begining to think that i could cut a clone and let the bud mature, trim it back and try and grow it some more, is that poss?

How many cuttings can you/would you take from a 2 foot mother plant ?
