Its going a treat! Have been off the cigs for a week now and havent touched one! Seriously cam, you can do it! Get the patches from your doc,not the chemist and plenty of gum. I found chewing cocktail sticks helps to!
Bewarned though for the first few days you body will go into shock when its not recieving the rest of the chems in a cig, resulting in a mild stomach ache and the shits. Only lasts for a few days though, oh and the patches make your arm ache like a dog for a while to, but all that has now ceased. Now when peeps offer me a fag, I pull a face of disgust and say 'No thanks, i dont smoke!'

I tried a year or two ago, was on the patches, and yes they did work, but I got lazy. Ditto for making your arm ache like a motherfucker too, lol.

Whats the difference between Doctor patches and Chemist patches?

I get the shits most days anyway by smoking a cocktail of ciggy tobacco and weed, so nothing new there, lol.

I will think about giving it another go pretty soon. But its finding the motivation to do it.

For example, If a lady (preferbly the nurse) offers to give me a BJ every day I go without a ciggy, I'd do that no problem.
