Timer broke down, lights have been 24 on during flowering
Kind of an emergency post here. Just got home to find out that my timer didnt work and it has been switched on for 24 hours now.
I'm into week 5 of flowering.
What is the best approach, leaving it on and return normal cycle? Or switch it off now and change the cycle?
Thanks in advance, would really hate to mess this up since the buds are really starting to look nice...HeartCore Reviewed by HeartCore on . ok... if it had been working, how long from now would your lights be turning off? it would depend on that... I would say just keep them on until the next normal time for them to go off and stay the course with the cycle they and you are used to..... but we should know how much longer of light that will be... I don't think it will cause too much of an issue as long as it doen't happen again. Pray that you don't get late blooming hermies. Keep your eyes out for balls in the future as well... I had small light leaks I was unaware of and all my plants hermied. Not bad, and it is containable but that was a consistant thing for a few weeks. Once, like your situation..... I think you will be fine. Hopefully some more growers will answer, as I am relatively new to growing.... Good luck and let us know.
I actually have never grown cannabis, and since it is still stupidly illegal, I would NEVER EVER think of doing such a thing. All that I post here is complete fiction that I pulled out of my ass. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Thanks
If I resume normal cycle, lights will go off in 11.5 hours. They where on for 36 hours by that time. I guess this causes less stress than changing the entire cycle now.

don't worry about it ... too many light hours during flowering, would take a couple of weeks, on average, to revert the plant back into vegging ... no worries, get a new timer, put it back on twelve hours, the plant won't even notice ... :smokin:
