i had a similar issue today wen i changed my res. i have 3 plants in the same bucket and the roots have intertwined themselves and grown into the water pump and filter, around the airstone and around all piping lolll

is it ok to cut a few of the roots to get em out? i really had no choice
misk Reviewed by misk on . what should i do? roots grew around airstone (PICS) hey all. i went to go change the solution in my 4 gal. bubbler system and i find that the roots have grown completely around the airstone. it's stuck pretty bad. any suggestions on how i release it? also, do i need to transplant into a bigger bucket, 'cause it looks like it's starting to get a bit rootbound? plus i completely cracked the lid when i lifted it. on the bright side, the plant is doing beutifully.
