DAMN.... you're on to me Zandor

i would say thats good for a first time harvest, im on #2 myself....

since ive smoked pure dried and cured sinsemilla from my own cultivation... i cant see why anyone would pay money for seedy overdried shawag weed
or any weed for that matter

its just so much more rewarding to sit down and smoke ... knowing that you made it from a little seed/clone

    later folks

I noticed reply above...Do Not Prune...It is too late to prune without taking the chance of enough stress to hermie...tie it like you planned.

for you newbs following this thread...never prune after transition, and don't prune much at all, period. the only pruning I do is too clean up all the new foliage around the bottom before floering, so that air can circulate around the base of the plant...this helps to keep pests and mildew, etc. from thriving.

Peace, GV, baby, where did you get your TATS? lw

Your roots are ok but you need a bigger container for it the roots require oxygen to grow. The roots being close to the airstone are good since they get oxygen quicker. I would get a bigger container and continue growing

Not even thinking i did this same thing. By gently sliding a couple fingers i managed to get my stones loose and put those spherical style stones on. Seems a lot less prone to tangling.
Also, I've noticed but never used the new rubber coated stick type airstones. They're a few bucks more, but look great. Anyone use em or heard if they're any good?

    Take care all,

    Fingers

I would use one of these
    http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Produc...&N=2004+113405

They improve the oxygen levels instead of having co2 buildups.
If you have a big container and need more oxygen for your roots you can take a sponge and a rubberband or hot glue. Hot glue it to the back of the airstone so it floats instead of being at the bottom.
And maybe put the nutes in the sponge so the arent all over this will increase the plants growth.

Depending on if the nutes are heavier than the water.
If they are then I would pour them in at the water line and turn up your air pump.

Look for ones that have less co2 buildup co2 will kill ur roots.

thanks newtoitallgurrl. it's definitely 1 of my 2 favorite strains. you got some nice looking buds there by the way.
thanks for the tip about the pruning latewood. i already tied those branches down. i had to remove the closet door. so now i'm using a room devider wrapped in mylar and velcro'd to the sides of the closet. GETTO AS FUCK! but hey, as long as it does its job right? i'd post a pic but my bro has my camera.
my tatts are mostly done here in L.A at a friends shop. the rest was done in israel & holland.

    Must go light my spliff.
    PEACE:rasta:

I dont know about the floating air stone thing, but that product you linked does look really good. I might have to hunt one down in the future.

As long as they're easy enough to get and not rediculously expensive, i'd go with that.Overall i think the rubbercoated air stones are a great low cost option. They dont disintegrate like traditional stones, and could bot tangle in roots due to being thin cylindrical in shape (tubes).

I still do like the look of that ceramic product though, I'll have to look into that one i think.

    Take care guys,

    Fingers

i use cheap bio bags for whisper brand fishtank filters and put my stones inside the bags n zippytie shut , i also do this w/ my pumps to prevent them from clogging up w/ roots .
