Will stress on seedlings affect male/female ratios later?
I forgot about the preflowers (thanks for reminding me faithlesxxx). So I've checked them using a 10x loupe and I can see pre-flowers with pistles (white hairs) on four of them - this was the best I was hoping for out of 7 plants.
Can I assume they will stay female as long as I don't stress 'em out anymore, or can they still go hermie? Do hermies have both sex pre-flowers?
Thanks for your help.emmpey Reviewed by emmpey on . Will stress on seedlings affect male/female ratios later? Hello, A newbie here :) I grow in a cupboard ( 2.5'x1.5'x5' ), using soil and 200w CFL (envirolite). I started my second grow about 6 weeks ago. About two weeks in I had a 'situation' and had to move the seedlings to another location for a few weeks, where they only got natural light - mostly cloudy - which caused 'em to stretch a bit. There was also yellowing and shedding of lower leaves, in fact the older leaves died as quickly as new ones grew. Conditions were far from ideal in terms Rating: 5
