Its a girl!

hey everyone!

This is my little girl. As you can see she is now starting to flower. She came from bag seed and was started under a 125watt cfl. She is now outside soaking in the beautiful brittish columbia sun. It was my first grow so there was some problems at the beggining but shes really starting to come around for me. Any ideas on why the pistols are so purple? There is no purple on the leaves at all. I just want to hear what your guys think so gimme some replys and it would be greatly apreshiated!:rasta: :rasta: :rasta: :rasta:

wow! thats a nice plant, i dont know why the pistils are purple but i do know that colours on weed are mostly only there as a place to store certain hormones inside the plant, dont worry about it (not that you really are) because its doing what it needs to do in order to grow well for you. soon all those little green spikes will start puffing up nice n big and itll be gorgeous

hey there Abattoir. Thanks for the reply man. I am actually very proud of this grow. My fist seed ever and it turned out to be a beautiful girl. I am so thankfull. Do you remember when we spoke a little while ago about that supposive "jack herer"? Have you started growing them yet? it was good to hear from you though. Heres another pic of the plant i took today. During the plants rough start it pretty much died a couple of times and just regenerated itself, first starting with 3 blade leaves again. The stem has no green and is completly grey and there is absolutly no foliage on the bottem branches. As you move upwards to the new growth the stem does get green tho. Please tell me what you think. hey man! i never actually realized it was you! and hell yeh you should be proud of your grow, its a little beauty in response to ur first question, nah i havent planted the Jack Herer/HOG seeds yet, im gonna wait till spring as jack herer is a real bitch to grow, (according to other ppl on here) and at the moment its autumn, so im in the process of making and outdoor plot.
In response to what you said about your plant it looks as though youve got a real survivor of a plant there, personally i see nothing to worry about, although i know how discouraging it can be when your plant reverts back to growing three blade leaves, you shouldnt worry about it too much, the stalk going grey seems to be a sign of its age, and i must say it does look like a pretty mature plant, so your okay there.
Now if you want more growth on the lower parts of the plant ive heard of a trick people use sometimes but cant remember what its called, basically you use something to pull the plant over, making the top face downwards, you tie the stems together like that in order to release a certain hormone in the plant which induces growth in the lower parts, making them grow, now, its kinda hard to explain it on here and ive never used it myself and have no idea how well it works, but if you can read up on it online to find out how to do it as safely as possible, and you think its a good idea, it may be worth a try, whatever you do, let me know what happens please.

hey there Abattoir. I live in the most westren provience in canada called Brittish Columbia. I live on the beautiful vancover island in victoria. As for a rooting medium i just am using organic soil, and a big ass pot lol. I myself am in aw that i have such a beautiful girl on my first try. It is surely the work of the lord, who has granted me this wonderfull gift. Hey Orange man thx for dropin by. Yea the pistols do have an extreemly pink/purple colour to them. Abattoir as you said before about bending the plant I dont think im to worried about her cuz shes doing fine but i will deffinitly keep the info in mind for my next grow, so thanks so much for the info. i gots to go tho i'll try to get some more pics up asap. stay lifted!:rasta: :rasta: :rasta:

Yeh, thats what i thought, interesting bit of info though, i was just wondering where you live because i had some weird idea, by the look of your plant and by your name that you may live somewhere like hawaii, lol i was pretty far off lol, i was only wondering because supposedly volcanic minerals and ash grow weed amazingly, and that plant just looked as though it had been 'volcanised' lol, (by the way i live in the real britain if you hadnt already guessed) i was just wondering too, if youve pruned that plant at all before you started budding it, as maybe the other leaves have been cutting off light or airflow to the bottom leaves, whether you did or not, (you probably already know) dont cut any off while its budding, as it will take longer to grow, im wishing you good luck man, and i got my fingers crossed for you, hope you do well out of it, - later mate
