Cutting a hole???
holesaws can be very pricy depending on the quality. i suggest a general-purpose cutting tool, like a jigsaw, which can be used for straight cuts as well as curved ones. if you are on a budget you can get a cheap jigsaw at like walmart or something, i've seen some for like $15 at Kragen Auto of all places. if you aren't a carpenter who uses his tools daily, you won't be needing a heavy-duty tool. maybe spend a dollar more and get some eye protection, too.
