    Lights

Has anyone in Houston bought HID lights for growing. There must be a shop somewhere here that carries some, or is it easier to just order them off the internet? I've always heard you should pay in cash so the purchase cant be tracked? My biggest concern is im a 26y old male, if I was to purchase lights in a store they'll know im not trying to grow potatoes or some shit....lol.

From what I read on the Texas Hydroponics website they have a store opening here in Houston on Feb. 1. They should be a little friendly to the indoor gardener.

There's also one already open on Westheimer, south of Hillcroft. Forget what the name of it was...Do a search for hydro on yahoo yellow pages, should still pop up.

Try Houston Discount Hydroponics. The guy that works in there is very helpful and knows that you aren't trying to grow 'maters or taters. Just don't overdue it, haha. The address is 9384 Richmond Avenue, Houston, TX 77063
    (713) 464-9406. I hope this helps you out. We enjoy shopping there!
