Resivior getting light
i have an ebb and flow with the resevoir seperate from the grow tray. I try to keep all light from hitting the water.
I have found that my nutes settle to the bottom of the resevoir and that it's never caused any problems. Hope this helps.

id keep all light away.....
light creates algae and bacteria in water...
esp. in organic nutes more than in chemical nutes
you'll start to see a slime on the sides of the res,
and maybe a "oil" type of shit collecting on the top of your nute solution
i had to learn the hard way, now i cover it with black plastic

i tired to cover it with some black plastice bags, cut them to fit but when ever i would wash the res out it made a mess and fell off. im gonna spray paint it black and then coat it with white. Next time that is i dont need to be smokin spray paint.
