Dro_Princess Reviewed by Dro_Princess on . Invalid Characters in User Name I wanted to use the chatroom but it keeps giving me this message when I click on it. I guess its the underscore in my name but am not sure. I wish I knew that when I created my name but I didnt. Is this the problem? Rating: 5[SIZE=\"2\"]Dont worry it only seems kinky the first time

ive seen underscores in the chat, they appear when you have a space in your name, if my name was Sam Whore, it would appear Sam_Whore in the chat, the problem will be fixed soon!

The _ you see in the chat are because of spaces in the user name.
The chat system is being assessed and very well could be changed soon...
Sorry for any inconvenience it causes.. I know how much of a pain it can be especially when you're unsure if it's your computer or the site.
We'll try to fix this soon,
Bob.

The chat system assumes all usernames are restricted to A-Z, 0-9, blank (space), and period...
Appearantly, at some point the restrictions were lifted for username registrations on the message boards allowing usernames to contain characters outside those bounds, such as underscores, exclaimation points, astrisks, etc ... the chat gateway simply won't allow those, but could be easily modified with less or even no character filtering.
Hope this helps.
