want to trade one of my guitars
ive had this 7 string guitar made by http://www.deanguitars.com/home.php
its a heavy metal guitar its too damn heavy for me not to mention the fret board is too big for my hands that 7th string really makes a diffrence in the size of the board, there is no cosmentic damage to the guitar i havent used it in over 3 years its just not my deal, problem is guitar center and such gives you shit for any guitar unless its gibson and craigs list has some shady ass people on it.
i just want to trade it for something no cash just dont know where to go with it i have a few other guitars so parting with this one is nothing its sits there looking good thats about it ill get some pics of it tonight i payed 650.00 for it(dumb) only to find out my hands cramp up after about an hour....
dont know why i posted here figured someone would know somewhere to go with it......maybe
closest thing i could find that looks like it except its 7 string

Who's song is that on the opening page of the Dean Guitars website? It's some rockin shit!
How long have you been playing this 7-string? I've dinked around on my buddies a few times and I find my hand gets cramped as well because of the thick neck. If you haven't been playing it for very long, you hands just have to get used to it.
I find 7-strings trendy, like, is that 1 extra string needed? Nah. I tune my strings down to C#, and then drop the top string down to B, for a mega low crunch, on a 6-string, with the thickest string being only a 46gauge, so I can bend the fuckin hell out of them.
You take any guitar in for trading though, and you get back only about 25% of it's market value. Too bad on the shitty purchase. Post it up on e-bay. You have a better chance making more money back that way.

I love seven strings.. I have a Schecter C-7 and it is awesome. I tune down to Bb. A seven string neck actually feels better to me for some reason. It might be because I have huge hands.
