    timer for lighting

    hi all , im growing 7 plants , all on 12 hours light now , running a six hundred watt and a four hundred watt , ive tried various timers to automatically turn lights on and off but the timers dont seem to last too long , can any one recomend a good timer that would be suitable for both lights , many thanks , geoff , uk .

    As you live in the UK try Argos, they do a twin pack of electornic timer switches for £15. No moving parts = no wear-and-tear, so they should last longer than mechanical ones.

    get any decent digital timer they are more expensive (25.00+) but are more reliable
