yes, 600 is more than 400
... but, you can buy 400-watt bulbs a lot cheaper then a 600 ... if it was me, I would make the jump to a 1000-watt lamp, more practical money-wise ... :smokin:

had the 600 as present from friend,just worried that the change in light would affect flowering.ive been told to change to 11 hours light and 13 hours dark, my guess is about 2-3 weeks left?

Some people sware by that light cycle to fatten up buds, seems to work for them. Also, that 600w has almost twice the lumen output as a 400w so what is better is not even really a question, the only real concern should be weather or not you can control the heat with the 600w, because that is definetly what you want to use.
What kind of strain are you growing?

she s a sativa,dont know which 1,had seed from mate,but she stinks like a pigs arse. im using a carbon filter fan for the smell and a medium size fan for air circulation,this is my first grow ,have got female armageddon seeds for next lot

More is always better but if you can only afford 400 or too paranoid to go that high in wattage then 400 would be your choice.

How long do you plan on letting them flower for? I would plan for about 10 to 12 weeks to really bring out what you want, unless you have hight issues, but they should stop stretching by now if they already haven't.

thnxs ,i thinking of keeping her about 2 more weeks at least, those budds seem to stretch an xtra 1.5 inches per day,shes a beauty,to think she"s had no nutes and a deprived childhood!!! will get digi cam and will deffo post pics, this 1 is a fuking corker,honest
