weed coffee???

i was just thinking about random shit and being high (some real deep thinking) then thought of this...if i were to put a few bowls ground up weed into my coffee filter, mixed with the coffee beans obviously, and brewed up a fresh pot of coffee, and then drank it, would i get pretty high?? or would i need like a lot of weed to do this...just something i thought of and if anyone has any info on weed coffee let me know.

I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't work alone...

A rule of thumb about cooking with cannabis, you need fat or alcohol content for the THC to dissolve into.

As for coffee, the coffee itself wouldn't do it, as it's mostly water. HOWEVER, if you could get the THC to dissolve into some creamer or milk, you could add that to the coffee and it would work nicely

Now, normally you dissolve the THC by heating the liquid to an almost-boiling or boiling temperature, but I have no clue about the specifics of mixing cannabis with milk or creamer. Maybe someone else will come along and tell you how to accomplish that *hint hint*

naww ive tried it before, it will actually work but water is sparingly soluble, so if you try it, expect to waste alot of weed. i put like a 20 sack in the filter, and i was pretty high after. it does work. btw if you wanna get fucked up later on, than eat the weed out of the filter, it might taste like shit but itll b worth it

I do what Bob said all the time, works great! I just grind up my shake and trim as fine as I can and then put in my teaball, if you don't have a tea ball that's fine it just saves the mess a little at the end of the process. I simmer whole milk in a sauce pan and then just put my teaball in the simmering milk, if you don't have the teaball just dump the ground up weed in the milk. I let it simmer on low heat for two hours or so stirring it frequently to try to minamize the skin from forming. After a couple hours take the tea ball out and press all the liquid out of the weed and into the pan, if no ball obviously skip this step. Pour the milk through a coffee filter to remove the pulp and squeeze all the milk out of it. I guess you could use the milk for anything you want but I put it in my coffee and it gets me off just nice on a sunday morning.
Sorry I can't tell you weights and measures because I just throw in what I feel like when I make it but obviously the more weed you use the stronger the effect. Hope this helps you.
