if you just put the chillum in your fist so the mouth piece is coming out your thumb side and the bowl pack the other. you cant really see the pipe so when your at a concert you can sneak a toke pretty damn well and it is pretty hard for people to notice. dead heads have been doing it for 30+ years

Depends how big of a chillum ya got. Liek a real chillum made out of clay, bone, stone, etc. that has the big old hole inside the bowl needs a chillum stone instead of a metal screen, can be bought online and at alot of shops. Those types are made for packing large amounts into the bowl so it holds the stone in place.Otherwise if ya got a glass one, pack it and burn it!

The way I used it, was one of my smokin buddies dads from 1976 haha, and you roll a joint/blunt fat enough then stick it in the top hole, and spark it in there, bring the smoke in there nice until your ready to take a big hit.

Cup your hands and sitck it through your hands, those are small pipes and you risk burning any hair on your face if you dont use the hand technique.

You've got it right.

I'm pretty sure it's like the old rasta ceremonial way to do it, you don't ever touch the pipe with your lips, you cup your hands with the chillum stickin straight up, and then suck through your hands. I've never tried it myself, just seen other people do it and it's been in some books I've read.

i usually hold it almost like a cigar, mostly with two fingers, but support with the thumb. light, inhale, repeat.

it's really not much like a pipe because chillums dont have carbs to clear it, so there will always be a bit of smoke left over inside...

heres a picture of my chillum... easy to use, get it nice and res'ed up and the bud wont fall out. never had any problem with it, i smoke it like a cig.

Its a beauty from nepal, it will stretch weed so much further than paper.

I just keep it along with a benz for my private stash.

Oh and you just stick a nug in the end and toke. Theres a wooden cone filter, old school.

well, as its said, chillums are smaller and more direct.. so the smoke doesnt have much of a chance to cool before i hits your lungs.. hotter air absorbs quicker, better, faster.
