Can I grow White Widow in a 3' space?

I have 5 feet of space. I planed a SOG grow, with the DWC tubs and 1000w HPS light in a cool tube, I am left with only 3 feet. Is it possible? I can shorten the tubs but at the most I would only get another 6". what do you think?

your goin to have a bitch of a time cooling that 1k light in that little space,, i have a hard time cooling mine with 1200cfm of exhaust

my dimensions are 3feet deep x 4 feet wide x 6 feet tall with 1200cfm my temps are 85* i recently switched to a 600watter cause of my res temps hitting 80*

more light = more/bigger buds

if it can be cooled well enough and uve got the cash to burn for a small yeild then who cares lol

i agree tho, a smaller light system would proly be better off

40-75 watts per sq. ft. is optimun , anything more = heat probs , poss. light stress and a larger unneeded elect. bill . just my 2c
