I was thinking of checking the PH daily in the res, and adjusting it using either vinegar or baking soda, whatever the case requires. Do you think it is do-able? I will be purchasing a ppm/temp pen, and using a manual PH test kit. I want it to be fun. lol.

I was thinking about using bat guano as the only nutrient in my DWC system. it is an 18 gal rubbermaid housing 2 plants in 3" net pots filled with hydroton. I was planning on using the mexican bat guano for the veg stage (10-2-1) and then using either the jamaican (1-10-0.2) or the indonessian (0.5-12-0.2) Do you think this would work? It will certainly be a whole lot cheaper. I am thinking of doing it just as an experiment. Please jot down your opinion, for the first timer. Peace. Rating: 5
