im sorry i missed the question. and if ur asking that a humidifier will work as aeroponics then i would say no. never used aeroponics but figuring how one works and how the other does. iwould say no. a humidifier gets hot and steams aeroponics is a method of fogging the air with wtv u would use, pumps and water heads that make the solution very very fine. besides i dont think the price would be much different. u can pick up a pump cheap and everything else is cheap aswell. for a small grow.

i actually think it might work if you used a (low grain hu)..but most cost like 1000 dollars. phoenix makes a great one good for up to 500 square feet for about 600$...low grain is the key...research it:rasta: ..let me know
