Well, I kind of disagree with that. Longboards go a lot faster then regular boards, and most people like to occasionally bomb a hill, and if your going down a hill quickly you don't want your trucks, wheels, etc, going out, so it's probably best to have some quality trucks, axles, and wheels.

sector 9 all the way baby. dont go with any other brand.

I have a sector 9 and I love it. You'll probably want to get new wheels and bearings later on, your board will be sooooooo much faster than stock.

I'd say sector9 is perfect for a first longboard.

yea ive rode that board once, its nasty i loved it.

but i got two sector nines there pretty gnarley, but loaded boards with a lil flex are the way to go....when bombing a hill with them u feel like ur really surfing down it its sweet. i recommend both sector nine and loaded, but for me i'd go with a loaded!

vanguards are similar to loadeds there even better i hear but idk personally ive never tried it...
