    new 2 nutes

    my plants are about to be repotted, upgraded and foil to mylar and im adding a hps w/ some CFL's i really wanna see my babies sky rocket half the their veggie stage becuz this is my 1st grow and i kno now that the way i started off wasnt the best

    so main question here is would a Miracle grow plant food nitrogen based food spikes be good for em ?

    Look for Alaska fish ferts. They carry it at most places if you can't find anything else besides MG.

    hi from roadcam (formerly the image reaper) ... do not use Miracle Gro plant spikes, they release nitrogen too unevenly, and slowly ... there is a lot of undeserved badmouthing of Miracle-Gro, I used it exclusively for many years with no problems, and great results ... however, I always fertilized by the foliar method, and at half-strength ... now, I just use Earth Juice nutes, which, while expensive, they are relatively weak and mild, so less chance of over-fertilizing ... the foliar method allows fertilizing with very little chance of overdoing it ... the only reason I switched to conventional methods, the foliar spray messes up my Mylar walls ... sucks ... :smokin:

    haven't heard anything good bout Miracle Grow except for using on regular houseplants and outdoor landscaping plants.
