So I landed my dream job... in the field that I'm studying and it pays really really well. So excited. Wasn't even really looking for a job since I'm bogged down with 18 credits at school, I just kinda stumbled across it and it looked great and the hours work for me so I turned in an application figuring it was a long shot though since I figured I'd be underqualified. Well... they offered me the job! If I can pass a drug test Monday. I hardly ever smoke anymore... but July and August I was living with my brother who is a dealer and I smoked pretty constantly... at least 5 bongloads a day with a few blunts thrown in there. Since then I have hardly smoked at all... one bowl once a week, probably less... I've been trying really hard to focus on school and get my shit together instead of smoking... the last time I smoked was last Friday (8/31). One or two small bong hits. Found out about the test this Friday. Since then I have been drinking mass amounts of water, I know they say you can't flush it from your system but I figured it can't hurt... you can always use more water anyway. I'm relatively physically active although I haven't really been working out near as much as usual because of a knee injury. I'm a female, 20, 5'6, about 120 pounds. Also, I take Adderall (20 mg twice a day)... which I know will make me test positive for amphetamines but I don't care because its legit (I have a prescription). My plan with that is to be upfront with them before I even take the test and show them my prescription bottle which has my name on it and clearly states on the bottle that they contain amphetamines. What I am wondering is this- if I do test positive for amphetamines do you think they'll want to further analyze my urine to make sure its Adderall (thereby making my chances of getting screwed for the pot even greater) and also do you think the fact that I take Adderall makes my chances better? I've heard people jokingly say that going on a speed binge will let you pass a drug test (too bad they test for speed)... but that's effectively what Adderall is... would taking a little extra help me by any chance? How good do you think my chances are? And what should I be doing for the next few days up until the test (8:30 am Monday morning)?
