I dont think guns should be illegal, if that happens criminals who are still bent on destruction and causing harm will get them 1 way or another, so basically a law banning the possession of firearms would actually be harmful to people (in my opinion).

Also, i dont believe that you should be required to keep a gun locked up in a safe. For example, you wake int he middle of the night to some strange noises down stairs. you get up to check it out and a guy is robbing you, say hes got a weapon and charges you. "hold on man i gotta get my gun outta the safe so i can defend myself!"... you can see the problem here.

And for the child safety reasons. I dont believe that a gun should be locked up if a child is near by (by law, if you choose to do so i totally see your reasoning). If you own a gun, and have a child, i would really hope that you would teach your child how it works, and how dangerous it can be. My dad has half a dozen guns in the house. He taught me at a young age how they work, took me shooting, and taught me gun safety. Im sorry to say this, and i know its being harsh but this is how i feel, if you have a child and you failed to teach him gun safety and he ends up shooting himself or someone else... thats your own damn fault for keeping them in the dark about guns. Curiosity killed the cat, if you get what i mean.

Guns dont kill people... people kill people

my opinions, flame away if you must

Theres was just something odd lookin about the guy and the fact I was in my dressing gown I decided not to answer the door. I went down stairs got a drink and noticed my back door was unlocked. I locked it and took the key and drink Rating: 5
