I was watching COP's on TV the other night, and it was about this kid shooting his best friend in the face with .38 S&W. The kid who got shot died in the living room, but they got him back with the defribulator. The kid who shot him said it was his dads gun and didnt know it was loaded.

This is what happens when guns are legal in a country. ALL guns should be kept in a locked Gun Safe.

No, this is what happens when you let retards reproduce and own guns. I think there should be a better screening process for fire arm sales. I used to sell all kinds of guns at a sporting goods store, and I turned quite a few people down, which was well within my power as a firearms dealer.

ur right i probally would get shot before u...the reason why, is simply cause if it calls for it ill stand up for my self, my family, and even friends...and if i ever do get shot...chances are the dude that shot me, is either dead, or soon will be...as for u being in touch with reality i highly doubt it, dipping cigarettes in embalming fluids and running around ur yard naked rubbing ur package on plants, u be the judge of that one...u probally have nothing worth living for witch is why u have a thought process like that...

It's law that all new firearms must come with a lock that renders the gun useless. There's no specific law that requires you to keep a gun in a safe, but there are laws against child endangerment, which includes giving a child access to a gun while unsupervised, and a lot of other things.

There probably should be a law to keep guns in safes whenever a child is in the house, but the US government tries not to tell us what we can and cannot do in our own homes beyond what it's already dictated, especially with special intrest groups (NRA) breathing down their neck and giving them money all the time. Personally I don't think any special intrest group should be able to communicate with the polititions in any way. The only ones telling the polititions what we want, are the individual voters. I'm sick of the minority opinion getting whatever they want, just because they have a lot of money and a big medium to share their message (hollywood and the media.)

What happenes in those "child shoots friend accidently with dad's gun" situations, is the dad has a gun, and doesn't educate his child on how to be safe around it. Even with proper education, I would not give a child access to a gun, but kids get into everything, and I'd rather them be properly educated than holding a gun that they know nothing about.
