some people go to exteems of sterility!
some times it is needed, if you are running aeroponics for example any little bug can screw things up big time!
i have a very strict regime of cleanliness due to the room being under ground and outside!, i have a double door entrance where one door has to close b4 the other can be opened, this stops light escaping and provides a midway area, this area has fly traps, sticky strips, etc within, i also change my shoes there!, as i have walked in from out side i change my shoes, but dont don an overall! or go in naked! evertime i step into the room i stand in a tray of disinfectant soaked sponge, and then to the room, where evrything is behind more doors!
, i keep the room temp to 18 degrees , which is too cold for most flying bugs to thrive, and makes them much easier to control1 although saying that i rarely have bugs in the main room!, i have in the past had problems with slugs livung IN the grow rocks, i now have this beat thanks to the cleanliness programme!
i guess you never can go too far if the crop is valueble to you!
last thing, evertime i leave the room . the floor is swept rubbish removed and floor moped with pure bleach!
go for it! do it right!

welcome to the world of endless possibilities,,,,,hydroponics!
