Screen of Green method NL#5, veg was about 45 day's (cropped plants) and single 400w HPS w/MH-Conv bulb air cooled hood, No A/C, no CO² just good ventilation and air flow.

The plants all finished about 18 to 20" above the screen and were tied back to the screen and wrapped around the closet to control height.

Hell yes we all had a buzz and it was a great time and a great conversation. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did there was some very candid talk about many things.

and I think 4 oz per plant should be average for everyone, if not more.

    Howdy Zandor,

I really enjoyed this episode,I was glad to hear JDog,because he hasn't posted here in awhile and I was gittin worried about him.

I thought that yer opinions on organic growing were very interesting and I didn't realize, that using chemical ferts,is better for increasing yield..I also agreed with JDOG,that sometimes one wants not to worry about the yield so much, and more about the flavour and quality.

Now then,I just want to point out, that when I used a bat guano tea that I made,my plants absolutely loved it and had much better growth than with the chem fert I was using, also,I had chosen to do such, because I had heard that bat guano and sea-bird guano teas, greatly improved the brix factor..so I was wondering if you could cover the subject of the brix factor and how it relates to a quality product..I'd be much obliged.

Have a good one ! :stoned:

Great idea of a show about brix meters, like how to read them, use them and what it means to the health of the plant. I will put it on the list for after we move and get settled in. Mine is packed away anyway.

But you did get my point about feeding them with a tea. Too many people grow organic and they only give the plants the first round of food that is mixed in the dirt and that's it. You mix up teas and that's great to hear for sure. Do you have some tea recipes you can share? You can post them here in the grow section or over at the shows forum if you want to. JDOG spends most of his time over there anymore helping me out.

BC you listen while you give blood? Wow; I hope you don't miss a show man that may kill you.....lol

    Thanks man

    Howdy Zandor,

Thanx for yer kind words !

I'm looking forward to yer talk on the brix factor and brix meters, and I'm sure that I'll learn something new too ! If one wishes to be the compleat grower, then we need to pay attention to all aspects of what it takes to come up with the best results, however,we don't all need or can afford a brix meter, but just having a basic knowledge of such, helps greatly, both for taste and for the natural defenses of the plant,to resist pests and disease.

As for tea recipes,I'll have to think about that a bit, maybe do some more research, because I realize that there additives out there that I'm not familiar with, but if I were aquainted with them,I bet that I could pick some right ones to use.

Have a good one ! :stoned:
