denni Reviewed by denni on . help please!!!!!!!!!!!! Just need to know if they are looking ok. I have two plants both are about four weeks old. For the first 3 weeks they were grown on a window sil which im guessing is the reason why they look stretched. I have been out and bought some proper lights and for the past week they have been under them 24/7. Do they look healthy and is there anything i should be doing. Debating on wether i should put them them in bigger pots now or leave it a bit longer. Any help would be appreciated:) :) :) Rating: 5

would probably go ahead and flower them and they should show sex usually within a couple of weeks while it is possible to sex the plants in veg stage and generally they will show when they are 4-7 weeks old but in your case your plants are stretched and look way under developed for their age probably due to bad lighting for the first 3-4 weeks of their life so wouldn't expect to much from them, flouros are ok for starting seedlings under for a few weeks if kept close but when its time to flower you would be better off with a hps light which im sure you will find out, while some use flouros and really cram alot of lights to attempt to adequetly light the sides and the top of the plant for flowering a hid will always out perform them.

have you looked at any hps lights if you are going to continue to grow would go ahead and invest in a decent light to flower with.
as per fixing these plants well you cant really fix them at best you could keep the new growth more compact the old growth is going to always look stretched which is why you should probably go ahead and flower them if you are going to, if you start more seeds and keep them close to the flouros instead of leaving them in the window for 3-4 weeks they would look alot better they would be alot more compact with a shorter distance in between internodes. while that light you linked to would probably work ok for a scrog or as one out of a 3-4 lights system if you have no other option and have to use flouros instead of getting a hid you can cover more area with more bulbs even if they were less wattage using 4 25 watt cfl bulbs is going to allow you to position them close to the plant like one at the top and and a few along the sides. its true all lights will lose intensity the further away they are but atleast hids give you a little bit more range to work with.

they appear to be females how long have you been in flowering?
your have some issues with your leaves curling down may be overfertilized or might check the temps maybe to hot.
