Thanks, Crudemood. I appreciate your kind words. I think I sometimes have slightly different insights because I'm older. But then there are those days when I have no insights at all. Seem to be having more and more of those days.

I enjoy your posts, too! Take care.

In my experience, Love is just another thing that ppl use to hurt u... u trust someone then they just end up betraying that trust.

    The definition of Love

Some people have been saying (and I apologise for missing names, but I only have limited access and time here), that most love comes with 'conditions'. Isn't it then fair to assume that the 'love' isn't true?

And, please let me defend my earlier words.

Yes, I am fairly depressed at the moment, but it is a long story as to why i am feeling this way.
However, i am NOT about to end it all yet...much to the annoyance of some people, no doubt...as i have far to much equal and opposite joy too.

You see, I see life as a balance of emotions, experience, and sharing.
Indeed, it is a funamental law of physics that all forces (effective and psychotic) are equal and opposite. Therefore, i am totally at ease with my depression (kinda) because i believe that this current state of mind is a ballance for the 'good times' that I have already experienced, and have yet to experience.
Some people might call it Karma, others might call it something else.

I have looked within myself and have laid myself bare...I have seen the good in me, and I have seen the bad..and I accept it all, because it is who I am.

I am at ease with my darkness. So much so thatI could almost say that I enjoy my darkness as much as i enjoy my lightness.

There aren't many folks who have the courage to examine themselves to a critical level...I have, because I've had to - as a matter of survival.
It wasn't as pretty as i thought it might've been...but I accept it.

This, I believe, is something towards the so-called 'meaning of life'.
When we, as a global community, can accept ourselves for who and what we are. maybe we can work towards moving to the next step...(?)

    But, good input from all..lol

And for the record (lol) I am not between the age of 17-23...I well past those glory days hehehe....well, anatomically speaking.

just my personal oppinion, but i think love doesnt exist, ad if it did, it died out a long ass time ago.
basically what i think love is nowadays is simply a mixture of affection, attraction, and hate

I know where you're coming from, and I think its sad. I've throughly questioned the existence of love myself, but its hard to still see because its become devalued in society, people would rather trade it for something more material, something that confers some status or at least a sense of warmth. Love exists, but it isn't always a gentle kiss and a storybook ending. Love is ups and downs and the whole gambit of life itself. To paraphrase others who have already spoken, love and life are the same, when you're doing it right. With both of them part of the magic is the part we can't quite put our finger on...

    The definition of Love

I guess that, as it was said in "The Matrix", 'Love' is just a word...it depends on what that word means to you.

Unconitional love is a rarity, and this is due mainly to the fact that we, as a species, have been distracted to what life is all about.
The world that we live in today is built around commercialism and possession.
We tend to measure a person's success by the amount of wealth they have accrued.
The arguements i have had with various people about my motivation in life are numerous.

Moreover, with this revelation in mind, i fear that 'world peace and harmony' can never be achieved.

The basic motivation behind most peoples actions can be summed up in one phrase - "what's in it for me?"

You could apply it to many of our decisions - if you're really honest about it.

If 'love' is an unconditional acceptance, then how many of us can truely say that they love someone?
I am willing to bet that most of us would say - "I love that person...except I wish they didn't..." do this or that.

When I was asked about this particular woman "how do you know that she is the one?", I answered, "because there is nothing about her that I find unacceptable"...hence my conclusion.
