The definition of Love

I am severly depressed and lost in the world, and I wish I could die in my sleep.

Anyways, enough about me, and more to the point of this wholly revealing and enlightening thread.

The most asked question in the enire history of question asking has to be "what is the defintion of 'Love?'.

Well, I believe that I have the definitive answer to that very enquiry.

Put quite simply, it is "an unconditional acceptance of..."

Please discuss this and debate whether I am right or, as in a few cases that have been recorded, wrong.

As I am still offline and destitute, I will only be able to pop in periodically to add comment and stuff.


Now all I have to do is discover the meaning of life, so i must away to think.....

yehman depressions a bitch but most of the time it gets better, i've suffered from psychosis in the past year or so and 6 months ago i felt like killing myself, these days i can smoke weed occassionally and dnt feel unhappy all the time, like i said, it gets better

My sense of humour is often mistaken as something else...indeed, it could be said that my sense of humour is something else...but it isn't THAT something else lol...its just wierd and often so abstract as to be opposite...or something...

There was a person, once...a female...that enabled me to arrive at that definition...but I guess that even that isn't enough for some people...

The meaning of life is one i dont think anyone will ever know. Or maybe there simply isnt one?

Well, sometimes there doesn't seem to be any point.

I used to think that the meaning of life was to understand oneself and the world about us, to live by a certain code (much like the 10 commandments), and to help our fellow man. But, as we can all see on a daily basis, it seems that there are those of us that think otherwise - wars, murders, abuse, etc.

So, we can only answer the question in relation to ourselves, because the 'meaning' is different from person to person. If we can understand the 'meaning' on a galaxial, or universal viewpoint, then that would be cool.

I'm a bit stoned, it should be said, and this is the first time that I have been on here for what seems lke an eternity, therefore I am in danger of just rambling on and on about nothingin particular...much like I'm doing now...

as for you mood......
your probly at an age (17-21) when if you have a personality/mood disorder....it will come out......its got to do with "growing up"......
i went through that craze this summer.......
i just started "realizing" everything about everything and it made me very unhappy and anxious and all i could do was cry and freaK out at people.....i started getting the worst case of the HIVES from stress (everyday)....thats when i went to patient first......who referred me to a psychiatrist....
now im better but i still have excess anxiety and get hives but atleast i have xanax to chill me out when i need it........go to a doc...
i think depression mostly has to do with HOW you percieve events/conditions...i know its hard to control it......but its really important to surround yourself with the most POSITIVITY possible...

happy up beat music, candy, and starbux fraps are my compulsions (when im unhappy/stressed...these things instantly make me happy overconsuming my negative thought patterns....even if its for the time being.....like a little kid.....)try to find shit you LOVE to have at times like this.....just dont become OCD...
