If you smoke using butane, you inhale butane, all that fluid doesnt go into thin air :P Well I guess the thin air you are inahling into your lungs.

A vaporizer or knifehit would be a cleaner hit, infact a good knife hit leaves behind brown worthless nugget that has been stripped of its goodies, you can throw that junk away and save your lungs the tar!

Also when taking a knife hit.. the smoke is boom , burned, then instantly sucked into your lungs, so the time from combustion to inhaling is very very minimal - I know bong hits get stale rather fast so this must be more effective :P Just burns thru alot of weed since you dont get as many " hits " per gram. But you still get all the THC and other goodies.

ps. Just use matches if you burn your weed with flame - let the sulphur burn off first though :P joints are also a cleaner method.

white lighters are bad luck! a whole bunch of people i know got arrested and all of them at white lighters. when i got arrested i had a white lighter on me. they are bad luck.

white lighters are bad news. I've known this since high school and now I'm 33. A friend of mine got a DUI with a white lighter and got busted for weed by cops when he had a white lighter. I'm not a superstitious person but I won't go near those things.

It all depends on where you live. Here in indiana RED lighters are bad luck. I was in cali and Whites were bad luck.

Yeah, whites are bad around here. I had one for about a week, and I was thinking how it was actually going good and maybe it's bullshit about how they're bad luck....and I spun off the road into a ditch. I threw it away from me, and some random guys came in a heavy duty pickup and a tow cable they had just bought.
