All I know is that poisons only work for a few days, then the ants get an immunity build and the poison doesn't effect them after those few days. The only way to get them, is too kill them all.

As for gasoline, I was just kidding, although not a bad idea, but nothing would ever grow again on that patch you set ablaze.

If they are getting in through cracks in your walls or floor, you can buy this sealing foam stuff. It's just a foam your spary in the cracks, and it expands instantly, sealing off anything that can come through. I use to have a wasp problem and i sealed them up inside of my outer, garage wall. They eventually left or starved to death I'm guessing. I'
ll never know unless I whack open that wall.

But if it's an ant hill, I have no clue. Knowing me I would pour just atad of gasoline down their little ant holes, and light them up.
