This is not a question but an observation. Suggestiuons certainly welcome though.
I have read I should get my sprouts close to the cfls, They can even touch. One of my sprouts actually was touching a "cool" 6500k one day. It scorched the leaf tip. My sprouts were looking a little stressed lately. I had 6 - 26w "cool" cfls going. Even with the cab door open and a desk fan blowin', the bottom of the pots was 85F. I also put a thermometer on the dirt next to a sprout. It measured 95F! So I shut down 4 of the cfls, watered with aged tap with a drop of superthrive in about 2 qts. of water (but I gave each sprout only about 8 oz. each). Anyway, I'm not so sure about cfl being so cool. They're definitily cooler than HPS or Halides, but they still get warm. Close is good but you've gotta be real careful.
