When or if you buy them fromm seed banks. that is how they know they are feminized. the light stress a plant into a hermie, allow it to pollinate itself and sell the seeds that have a 99.8 percent chance of being female as the plants base genetics don't really change from being a female when it is stressed into becoming a hermaphrodite, therefore, the genetics passed along to the seeds are just that... Feminized.
