ahh, Ft. Lauderdale...

The Strip on A1A was my stomping grounds in the early- to mid-'70s. Crazy Greg's "The Button", "The Elbow Room", "The Candy Store", "The Playpen South" (on S. Federal Hwy.) were bars that fuckin' rocked back in their day...but no more. Since the city council (or whoever) decided to "clean up" the city's partying image back in the '80s, Lauderdale nightlife is but a mere shell of what it was in its heyday: the best-partying Spring Break destination in the country.

I'll always have the memories tho...
