dont worry about it we all go through it my GF hated pot i mean hated it when we met she would refuse to even look at it about 2yrs into our relationship i brought home a few joints and told her i promise this will do nothing more than give you a body and mind feeling then it goes away like nothing hapened.

so i did convince her a few days later she tried it and didnt get high so she wasnt spooked about it so far the next day we smoked again and she got ripped we listend to music and just hung out me and her she changed her opinion about and became my everyday smoking buddy needless to say she loves pot she is my best smoking buddy ever......well up until we ran out of herb but thats another story :thumbsup:

Dro Princess, you are definitely NOT an idiot. You're the complete opposite, in fact. Take heart from the fact that smart people recognize this.

There are people in this world who think they're too smart to learn anything from others. Sometimes they have some modicum of intelligence, but when their arrogance overtakes their ability to learn or be open to new information, they reveal themselves to be deeply and terminally stupid, no matter how many official IQ points they may have. You tried, which I applaud. That arrogant ass who assured you THC is harmful clearly doesn't have even the most basic of information. THC is an amazing and desperately underutilized chemical with more healing potential than anything else I've read about in recent years.

Consider this a learning experience, if a frustrating one. There'll always be resistant dummies in the world. Our job as open-minded, informed people is to continue to put information in front of others, whether they are open to it or not. Often even when they're not, someone else will be receptive. And it's the collective efforts of these messages that will begin to change attitudes about cannabis.

I was trying to reason with some character several days ago on chat, trying to tell him something I'd learned in medical school psychopathology class, and got called a bitch. He was an insecure loser who was unable to listen to reason, and so he resorted to rudeness.
