I have had Fox Farm Ocean Forest just burn the living hell out of quite a few seedlings ... for some strains, it is just TOO HOT for them ... start seedlings in a mild potting soil, no nutes, and water sparingly ... then, when grown out a bit, go with your Fox Farm soil, it is very good stuff ... just too rich for some seedlings (ALL of the ones I have been growing successfully for a long time, without it) ... :smokin:

Was going to give the Fox Farm Ocean Forest,Perlite, and Vermicilite mix a try. Went to local lowes today to see if that had any perlite, the only thing I could find was http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=156581-446-74278300 was wondering if this is no good because its Enriched with Miracle Gro® liquid plant food. Should I head to the local garden shop to look for some other kind of perlite? Rating: 5
