Overall healthy, possible burn/lockout combination, but mild at the moment. Worth flushing and checking pH of runoff, then watering with mild complete fertilizer at 1/4 strength.

thanks, thats what i was thinking. But i am a new grower so i thought i'd ask

what i did was flush it, and then foliar feeded it a 1/2 strength solution of revive a trace mineral solution which is supposto fix most deficiencies

You might remember from a while back, these plants are in composted chicken manure so it has probably caused a lockout.

i'm thinking it is a N deficiency as it also has red veins and stems.

Now by 'stems' do you mean the main stem, or the leaf stalks (petioles)?
Because those are symptoms of different problems.

mainly it is the petioles. But the main stem has vertical red lines on it of the same color as the petioles

    stinky...

i've fixed the problem. but i've still got red petioles. on a lot of my plants.

and red vertical lines down the main stalks. here's some pics.

it seems that the lines get thicker and thicker untill the entire stem is red
