Quitting.
you have to really want to quit and stick to that decision. it may help to avoid people you know who are heavy smokers so your not tempted. it really comes down to willpower, atleast thats what ive found in my fight against several addictions. just quit and replace it with somthing thats good for you and you will live a healthier and happier life.

Another big factor is how long you're been smoking and how much. If you've been smoking less than 3-5 years (a pack a day or more), then it might not be so hard. Past that it gets really damn tricky,

At first I was defensive when I read your post - but I kind of agree with your point..."Punk ass lame" is a little harsh but truthfully, maybe I AM a weak person because I can't quit cigs.........with all we know about how they kill you!

It sucks because I always said "I can quit" "Maybe I'll quit when I'm older".....but now that I've been smoking for about 15 years it's not so easy....

The key is want!!! people who try often really want to,these people usually succeed in the end...

you smoked for a week. some people have been smoking for 40 years. tobacco is highly addictive, along with all the other shit they got in there. its nuthing like weed so shut the fuck up. A realitive of mine died trying to quit cancer sticks, of cancer, so please just shut the fuck up. I smoked until the day he died, (around 5 months) and i stopped within a week. hardest week of my life. not a fucking state of mind.
