Tell me how much longer based on pisitils
So my plant's lower pistils on what I presume are considered secondary bud sites are just starting to turn brown, but the top primary bud still has totally white pistils. She's probably in the fifth week of flowering, but I started flowering at one and a half weeks, and I can really see why people wait longer because my yield is going to be very low at this point. So I'd like an estimate on how much longer I've got till harvest, and how much bigger my buds may get. I'm using soil, primarily organic nutes, and a lot of CFLs. The calyxes are getting bigger and there's a nice dusting of visible trichomes all over them and the bud leaves.

Tell me how much longer based on pisitils
I believe that I started flowering at about 1.5 weeks after my seedling sprouted, and I haven't really been keeping track of how long it's been since flowering, so I need some estimates on the length to harvest.

hello mr. kind,
I agree with stinky... should be 2-4 weeks more... I assume the plants have stopped all vertical growth..
how many nodes did your plant have when you sitched to 12/12?
how many inches did it grow after you switched to 12/12?
can you please post a pic...? ilove pictures... especially pioctures of plants that are forced to flower early... I love that technique..
cheers

I switched to 12/12 when my plant was getting its fifth node, and it grew quite a lot after that, probably four times or more taller, but maybe a week ago stopped growing upwards, and growth slowed maybe a week before that. I really need to take some pictures but don't have any right now.

Well if you forced flower before it was fully mature, you may have even more time than 2 weeks.
Pics, please?

The Knowm has spoken x x x - they grow more and more in the flowering stage...
To a Knome (A red, red nose)
O my Knowm is like a red, red nose,
That's newly blown in June:
O my Knome is like a melodie,
Play'd slightly out of tune.
As fair art thou, my bonnie Knowm,
So deep in luve am I;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Till I eat this Mutton Pie.
Till I eat this Mutton Pie, my dear,
And the Dumplin's on the hob;
And I will luve thee still, my dear,
Or my name isn't Bob.
Or my name isn't Bob, my Luve!
So fare-thee-weel, a while!
And I'll be back again, my Luve,
Tho' it's really not my style!
:smokin: Show us some pics..... trics are the way to tell if it's ready to harvest - Good karma, Hall x

you don't harvest regarding the pistil color, you harvest regarding the color of the 'trichomes' ... there is an explanation and photo example in the FAQ section, titled "When to Harvest" ... its a 'sticky' by Zandor ... on my particular strain, the pistils turn dark brown long before the trichomes are ready ... if I had harvested them according to the pistils, I would have had less potent product ... :smokin:
