1st Time Grow, Frost, Mold and Harvest
This is my 1st post and my 1st grow. YAY! About 10 days ago I did a partial harvest on my outdoor plant. I am growing some simple bag seed for my 1st grow experience. I took about 1/3 of the mature buds and snipped the branches. I left the remaining bud to finish maturing and get a lil bit more direct sunlight. I like the variation of a "head high" & a "body high" and notice the harvest time had an effect on this, so I thought best to snip away some of the more mature smoke. With approximately 30 days left to the 1st frost I decided to give her a medium/light foliar spray and about 1/2 a gallon of diluted ferts to the roots. I did this on a Friday. I assumed I had a good 30 days for it to flush out nicely before the final harvest. Saturday and Sunday had light periods rain. Monday was a decent day. Tuesday and Wednesday look nice in the low-mid 70's by day and 50's by night. The problem is starting Wednesday night into Thursday we are expecting more rain and cooler temps. I expect rain about every 2 days and the temps slipping to 50's - 60's for a high and 40's for a low. These cooler temps combined with the rainy weather expected has me worried about mold. By the looks of the extended forecast I would have to complete my final harvest regardless in about 10 days before the 30's move in on me and then I got the whole frost issue to worry about. She's probably not quite ready for the final picking but I don't know if it's better to take them at this stage or risk bigger issues that could destroy all I have left. I feel like a bear, getting ready to hibernate for the winter and I don't want to be getting greedy hoarding it and be shot by the hunter. I could very well be an over anxious 1st time novice grower with slightly paranoid tendencies, either way I need advice from my favorite cannabis guru's in your forum to guide me. Any and all advice is appreciated. I have attached some photo's to show you my lil girl and I am a bit ashamed when I see some of the sweet smoke ya'll got going on, but in my defense... well, I have no defense, but I love my ghetto baby anyway......THANK YOU!

Nice looking buds, if you're worried about mold you can always pitch a tent or tarp to keep the rain off, but be sure to remove it as soon as the rain stops.

Thank You, I will try that this week with the rain coming. It would be nice to squeeze at least a few more days out of her.
