Yeah i play guitar, mainly acoustic, been playin for a few years now... still only know the basics tho lol but i'm only self taught so forgive me

not had much experience on electric guitar but i hear it's supposed to be easier than acoustic, thats about all i know lol

I have been playing guitar for at least 10 years. i have an austin electric, a bc rich warlock, and a peavy half stack amp.

Started off with trombone, then 7 years of piano. Mostly Drums...since I was 15...now 43. Holy fuck i'm getting old. LOL

Mostly heavy metal and alternative. Some Jazz and other stuff.

Really loving the new hard rock metal out...Hinder, Non-Point, Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Cold... etc.

It's my "therapy".

I have been playing violin for 25 years.
I began on classical, then added Irish traditional, and have some experience playing Arabic folk music and even was in a Mariachi band!
Irish sessions are still my all-time favorite way to play though- great way to meet new friends and enjoy some brews.

yeah easier, so i've heard anyways... i have played some electric and i would have to agree for the most part its easier to get a good sound, plus u can do hammer-ons/offs and stuff like that that u cant really do well on acoustic

Easier because the strings aren't so far from the fret board, and not so hard to push down. That's what our guitarist told me when my son wanted to start guitar lessons.

mmmm you can lower that though.

I played guitar since I was 7 (had about a years worth of lessons then didnt have any more), played saxophone for 6 years gave up and took up drums which i've been playing for going on 7 years.
I can play the ocarina aswell. lol
