Ok, first a rant about the admin... Editing after 5 minutes is disabled. Must contact admin. Contacting the admin is disabled. WTF?

Disregard my first post. I misread my notes as to how many times they needed to coat the magnets.

Ok, so after reading this: http://www.bmezine.com/news/guest/20060331.html

I got interested in doing the same thing. Im a huge tech geek and that stuff is just tight.

So I looked up some magnets and found these: http://unitednuclear.com/magnets.htm Specifically the 1/4th by 1/6th of an inch rod ones about half way down the page.

I dont have any way of coating the magnets so they are biologically safe but I found http://astp.com/coating/parylast.html as a place to coat the magnets.

They are my second choice after the first place I talked to stopped responding to me. ASTP quoted me a $950 per batch price. In order to get the magnets completely covered they'll have to run the process twice as there is one side (the side that is down) that doesnt get coated. That makes a total of $1900 per 100 magnets. 100 being the most they will let me run at one time.

Would any one be interested in helping foot the bill and get a (some) magnet in return? $24/magnet is what Im thinking would cover everything (except shipping out of US.) The guy I talked to was interested in what I intended on doing with the magnets because I told him they were for personal use. He said that they (the company) really like helping out home users/ not big corps and he would talk to his boss so there is a small chance that the price they want will go down. If that happens the price/magnet will also reflect that change. If 50 people (or anything that adds up to 50 magnets) are seriously interested I will be willing to pay the remainder myself.

Anyone interested/ need more info?
