new grower log

ok im planning on updating this shortly but for right now this is what im working with,
1-2x2x5 box
4-42watt cfls
2-comp fans
11-bagseeds (hoping at least 4 germ right)
and some misc items like mosture checker, lighting intencity checker etc.
i will be adding pics and more items to list shorty hoping to have up and running by the end of week. :smokin:
btw i was hoping to be able to have 2 sections (one for veg other for flower) in this box (adding more lights of course) do you guys think that i will be able to do that?

Hey upnsmk, kinda small for 2 seperate grow areas but i'm sure it could be done, i'd go for something like 2 x 1/2 for veg and 2 x 1.5 for flower, should be able to squeeze 4 x 6inch pots in your veg room and 4 x 9 inch pots in your flower room that way. Good luck! :rasta:

Ya i built it first as a single but after looking in to it i was thinking of putting a divider in it having the veg on the bottom and flower on top. switching them to bud when their about 1 to 1 1/2 ft tall but im pretty new to this growing stuff looked at a lot of info but nothing beats exp.

ive got a question but i dont want to spam the boards so ill post it in here my seeds have been germing for about 41 hours now and no luck except one (and thats what my question is about) the one that is 1/2 way working is cracking at the rounder side is that normal i would post pics but i cant find my cam and it dosnt look like the seeds ive germed before (but i wasnt germing for me i i didnt pay much attention) im cinda worryed about them because there my last seeds 6 of them ive already tryed failed so it cinda my last chance weed is DRY here (29 busts in 4 days will do it to a small town)so ya anyways thanks and toke one for me

Yeah you can do one on top of the other too, play about with how to divide it up and see what works best. Just take into acount the height of the pots, the minimum space your lights will need etc. If you go for having one on the top and one on the bottom make sure the shelf that your gonna put the flowering plants on is plenty strong enuff, the pots get pretty heavy when you've watered them or have the veg room on the top! Just so you no i'm not very experienced, i've a couple of grows under my belt but i don't claim to no loads, just giving you my opinion.

Remember they'll double or triple in size from when you start to flower, so consider that when you decide how to divide your space

ok ill try to take that in to consideration i have no real exp im just now starting to grow ill have 3 different grows going as soon as i can get some seeds. im cinnda trying to end this towns drought by setting all of my friends up to (that way i can get enogh to last me a while) sorry if im not making any since right now im cinnda flying and really tiered but i apperceat your help so far and will proably have some more questions soon and as soon as a can find my damn cam ill post some pick of the cabs im going to use well since i have to wake up in 2 hours i should prolly go to sleep
