She touches your face and you lean in, tilt your head ?? to the right, of course ?? and your lips connect. The rushing sensation leaves you little room to wonder, ??Why the hell am I doing this anyway?? Of course, the simplest answer is that humans kiss because it just feels good. Why do humans kiss?
This is a really awesome thread. I've wondered this myself often.
For my part, I've always had a sort of dislike for kissing. I've had all kinds of kisses from different people, girlfriends, etc. I dunno, it just kinda makes me want to scrunch up my mouth and draw back from the person.
Then again, to contrast this, there is this really super hot black girl at my school and frankly I'd like to kiss her nonstop all day.
So what the hell's up with me, I guess XD

This has been my favorite thread of the day, MJS. About my favorite thing, too.

Why do humans kiss?
I love kissing; feeling her breathing against my cheek, her hair playing gently at the side of my face. I like to cup my hand under her jaw the way you grab ahold of a dog after it's misbehaved, but softly and gingerly. I like running my hand up and down the small of her back, gently massaging her while at the same time, pulling her close. I love the way the way the warmth seems to charge and magnetize the two of us so breaking away becomes inconcievable. And most of all, I like to yell really loud into her mouth while we're kissing and freak her the fuck out.

But, like I said, it was probably just me mimicking adult behavior.
Without wanting to sound boastful or arrogant, I do somewhat pride myself on restricting my affection for someone I feel very deeply for, and have a long-term intimate bond with. This is a notion that was pretty much lost on most of my buddies in high school-- then again, they were the ones with girlfriends, lol. All mine have been internet girlfriends I met in real life (and no, none of them were child touchers...thank goodness).

No, no. No reputation. Just something subtle I picked up on. And wondered about.
How old are you, Turquoise? About 19? It's perfectly fine to be self-interested and it's great to be discriminating about when and with whom you bestow your affection. I think what you said reflects a great deal of self-actualization. One of these days the right person will come along.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

Why do humans kiss?
Good guess-- I'm 20. But sometimes I tend to exude a little bit younger of an attitude than my age.
Anyway, I appreciate the vote of confidenceEncouraging words are nice things to keep in mind.
