take your bud gently break it all up, and take out the seeds, chop up the stems to the consistancy of teabag chopped tea leaves. bring a pot of water to a boil and then put in a stick half of butter (just enough water that the butter has 3-4 inches of water between the pan bottom and the surface. Then boil it. Once its boiling, put your bud and chopped stems in the waterpot. Let it boil and stir with a plastic or metal spoon frequently for about half an hour. Then, strain everything in the boiling pot. Drain the liquid that comes out from the mush into a pot or cereal bowl (squeze unitl the mash is just about dry, you dont want to waste any of the liquid). Put the pot or cereal bowl or whatever you drained it the liquid in a refridgerater. After a few hours in there, the butter should have had come all the way to the surface. If it hasnt, put it in the freezer periodicy. Once its all at the surcace, scoop it into a container and throw away the water. Put it on toast, bread, into pastry mixes, whatever you imagination (and taste buds) desires!
