my mom is not the smartest person in the world, i was drunk off my ass one time, i had split wiskey and beer all over my clothes, and walked right up to here drunk out of my mind, the smell on my breath, my clothes, and even my skin, she didnt even relize i was drunk. and she cares that i smoke weed, she dosent like it, but she dose relize that its better then me drinking, or anyother drugs in the world, and she still gets mad at me for it, she still yells at me about it, but i know theres nuthing i can do to change her mind over her yelling at me, and she knows theres nuthin she can do over my smokin weed, except get mad, she knows she will never be able to to keep me from smokin, and i respect her rules, i dont smoke weed in her house, i dont bring weed in her house, and i dont even bring my pipe into her house, infact i dont even bring the bong into the house to refill it, the only thing i do is go into her house while i high, and even then, i try to wait until im not totaly blitzed.

instead of lying to my parent(s), i just tell them the facts

I say yeah, i smoke weed

then i ask "do you see me getting drunk every friday and satuday night?" their answer is no

then i ask "do you see me falling asleep in a pool of vomit, or vomiting non stop into a toilet, then spending the next day hungover?" their answer is no

then i ask "do you see me getting drunk and crashing my car, getting into fights, or breaking the law when drunk?" their answer is no

then i ask "how many times have you seen or heard of people dying from alcohol poisoning or dying while drink driving etc?" obviously theyve seen or heard of that happening

then i ask "have you ever heard of anybody dying from smoking weed?" their answer is no

then, i show them sites like cannabis.com, erowid, etc and show them the REAL truth about weed

thats what we should all be doing.. not hiding the fact that we smoke weed because people think its wrong, but being proud that we smoke weed and teaching people the real truth

i totally agree. my mom found out and told me i "need to stop doing that" and tried to argue with me. her only argument was basically that it's illegal and a drug and i said "yes i know its illegal, but it shouldn't be, and alcohol is a drug too and is way worse for you than smoking weed." then she says "you're going to become a burn out" and i say "are you serious?" and then invite her to check out erowid.org and read something about it. that's usually where she says "you better not get arrested" and i tell her i'm not an idiot about it and the conversation ends.

If my parents ever find out that i smoke weed (hopefully they don't anytime soon) then i will just tell them all the stuff about it and how it is way less harmful to you then drinking. Plus, i will add the fact that many people my age get drunk off their asses and they don't see me doing that and destroying my liver. So, hopefully i could win the arguement. My dad would probably be pretty understanding, but my mom wouldn't. Either way, i won't stop tokin' :smokin:

When youve been smoking since you were young, and been caught so many times...it dont matter they already know. stonerize your room , they will get over it.

Just act ignnorant about stuff like that, and talk to them about it, make it look like you dont know what your talking about when you talk about drugs. It worked for me, then they found my stash one day on "accident" and now I cant hide the fact that I do any more but it worked untill then.

If you don't want them to know, don't give out hints in conversations like wondering what time your parents are gonna be back. I make that mistake a lot. Sometimes they ask "Why do you want to know, what are you doing?" :\
