you can always just get caught so much that your parents eventually realize that nothing they do will change you so they just give up on you and let you do your own thing

instead of lying to my parent(s), i just tell them the facts

I say yeah, i smoke weed

then i ask "do you see me getting drunk every friday and satuday night?" their answer is no

then i ask "do you see me falling asleep in a pool of vomit, or vomiting non stop into a toilet, then spending the next day hungover?" their answer is no

then i ask "do you see me getting drunk and crashing my car, getting into fights, or breaking the law when drunk?" their answer is no

then i ask "how many times have you seen or heard of people dying from alcohol poisoning or dying while drink driving etc?" obviously theyve seen or heard of that happening

then i ask "have you ever heard of anybody dying from smoking weed?" their answer is no

then, i show them sites like cannabis.com, erowid, etc and show them the REAL truth about weed

thats what we should all be doing.. not hiding the fact that we smoke weed because people think its wrong, but being proud that we smoke weed and teaching people the real truth

don't worry about how to get your parents not to think you smoke. eventually theyll find out. dont play that mindgame where you think youll never ever get caught. you will. it happens to the best of us. deal with it, remember that in 2 weeks youll be smokin a joint laughing about the whole thing, and just move on from it.

its not as big a deal as it seems getting caught. trust me!!

and im wondering if anyone has tips on how to make them beleive that im not a druggy so that i can smoke without fear of drug tests? they have threatened to make me take one.. im prolly clean so maybe i should just get one to prove the point.?

gain their trust, make it look ridiculous, tell them you don't, if the test you then cheat your way past and then laugh in their faces when you come out clean, they won't test you again

Just keep your grades up and don't turn into a lazy stoner. Hang with your friends and do shit. Don't sit around the house laughing at Bugs Bunny and eating Fruit Loops all day. And don't fail in school. You start fucking up, they're going to get pissed.

You can't hide it forever, unless you're like a guy I used to know. He's 27 now and he still hides pot smoking from his mommy. Don't do that, please.
