Ok i've been smoking for almost 3 years now...im 17.. i have all kinds of amazing stories to tell but thats not why i made this thread.. See i never really cared if it was indica or sativa because i love to get high either way.... But to me what i've been reading latly im more relaxed / tired feeling.... i think ive only be engertic like twice when high or a "clear" high.... Can somone tell me how i know when im high if its sativa or indica lol? or by just looking at the bud? smell? i know u Rating: 5

If you really wanna know just ask ur dealer what strain it is and look it up online. Sometimes I can tell the strain but theres no way to know i:s ratio w/o a microscope or having it memorized.

just what i was about to say, just ask your dealer after you buy it if it knows anything about the weed. he he says a name, just google it when u get home. if he dosn't know, it's easy to tell by the high. if you feel the need to sit down, and feel really heavy, like your limbs are being pulled down, then it's indica. if you laugh and talk a lot, it's probably sativa

Just by looking at the dried buds given to you, you can never tell what it is unless the grower tells you . The only true way to know is learn the differences between a sativa and indica high and experience it for your self and notice things about it. Also dont forget that hybrids are also grown so sometimes you might get a good mix of both species.

I smoked indica dominant weed for like 2 weeks and i was starting to think I had a high tolerance. This weekend I smoked about 10g total of sativa dominant weed with mainly indica after effects and I felt retarded. I guess you forget the difference until you have some good sativa. I enjoy both but i still pick indica over sativa any day.
